In the eighth inning, with runners on first and third, Bradley caught Joe Mauer's fly ball and posed for a few seconds before tossing it into the right field bleachers. Unfortunately for him, that was just the second out and Brendan Harris was awarded third base because of the blunder, though he didn't score.

Castillo's error, while not a mental mistake, had much more costly consequences. With 2 outs in the bottom of the ninth, K-Rod induced an easy pop up from A-Rod that would seemingly end the game. And it did--except that the Mets lost instead of won after two runs scored when Castillo dropped it, giving the Yankees a 9-8 walk-off win.

And congratulations to Kevin Slowey on setting the record for strikeouts for an AL pitcher at Wrigley Park!
