Also: benzene is a six carbon aromatic compound with three double bonds shared equally amongst the six C-C single bonds-- an interesting example of resonance. The resonance stabilization is what makes benzene espeically stable and hard for the body to degrade, which is why it's a carcinogen. Also: sorry. I just wanted to annoy you.
