As has been the Twins' theme this year, it appears Justin Morneau will belatedly find his way to the disabled list after first trying to stay on the active roster. As I said in an earlier post, this is particularly worrisome for Morneau, who was the victim of a concussion back in 2004. That season he was never able to return to form and wound up hitting under .240. Despite the fact that Morneau himself has said this feels nothing like when he got hit in the head with a pitch six years ago, I remain very concerned that this could affect even when he eventually returns from the disabled list. In the meantime, it will be interesting to see who the Twins choose to take his place on the 25-man roster.
