Who's Hot? Who's Not?

I'm hoping to make this a weekly feature--it's just a quick rundown of who's been playing well of late, and who hasn't. For the hitters, the timespan is the last seven days, while for the pitchers it's the last 14 days. A maximum of three hitters and three pitchers will be included on each list, with a minimum of one of each on both lists.

  1. What about Scott Baker?

  2. While Baker did have a very nice start yesterday, he has not pitched particularly well over the last two weeks, which is the time frame I was using.

In his other two starts in that span, he gave up 5 runs in 6 innings and 4 runs in 5 innings, putting his overall ERA over the last two weeks at 5.59.

  5. I was watching Slowey pitch one of the games against the Yankees and I could tell then that he was a great pitcher, but it's nice to see his name on the hot list as a confirmation of that thought. He's probably a Twin that I'll be looking out for throughout the rest of the season, as well as, of course, Joe Mauer...
